End-to-end encryption prevents potential eavesdroppers from being able to access the cryptographic keys needed to decrypt the conversation.
Keep your messages in your hands
The messages are encrypted by the sender and we cannot decrypt them. The recipient retrieves the encrypted data and decrypts it himself.
Keep your phone calls private
Just like your messages, calls made through Semasim are end-to-end encrypted: third parties, included us, have no means to listen to them.

As a French start-up, we are subject to both the European and French legislation, the latter being particularly sensitive (rightly so!) about personal data protection.
